The Fun School is aimed at youngsters usually 7 or less year olds that want to have fun playing
football. Anyone is welcome and there is no obligation to come every week. There is a small charge of £1 per session to cover cost for pitches and equipment.
The sessions focus on enjoyment around playing football. It is an ideal opportunity for any young player to enjoy his first footballing
experience. This includes girls.
Every player is welcome. Session is 10:00 am for 1 hour at
Kilton Forest football pitches. Leaving Worksop on Blyth Road on the right
just past Kilton Forest Golf Course.
The boys can progress to play for the Under 7s side. The season is usually Sept to March. Players need to be less than 7 years old on the
1st September. The team will play in the Sheffield and District Junior Sunday league. At this age, the format is mini-soccer in accordance
to FA rules. Players do not progress to 11-a-side until Under 11s age
group. (The girl's league does not start until the Under 10s age group. See also the Girl's section)
Please note that there are strict FA and league guidelines on signing players. No team is allowed to recruit players during certain parts of
the season. Similarly no team is allowed to sign players that are signed to another club.
